DAY 01: ARRIVAL COCHIN

Greeted by Hi-tours representative and driven to hotel at Cochin. Cochin - "Queen of the Arabian sea". Cochin has a fascinating blend of cultures as varied as Dutch, Portuguese and English. Ancient churches, colonial structures, century old synagogues make Cochin a tourist spot offering a host tourist attractions. Cochin is ideal place to watch cultural shows such as 'Kathakali', Mohiniyattam and other art forms of Kerala. Cochin had influences of explorers and traders who visited this wealthy land. On arrival check into hotel. In the evening enjoy the sunset cruise. (Overnight at Cochin)

DAY 02: AT COCHIN

Today you could go for an optional sightseeing tour to explore the many fascinating highlights of Cochin which include - The Jewish Synagogue in what is locally called the Jew Town, St. Francis Church which is the oldest European Church in India, the Santa Cruz Basilica built in 1557 by the Portuguese, the Dutch Palace, the spice market and the 15th century Chinese fishing nets believed to have been brought by Chinese traders. DAY 03: COCHIN TO KUMARAKOM

Drive to Kumarakom, A beautiful destination of mangroves forest, green paddy fields and coconut groves interspersed with enchanting waterways and canals, the village of Kumarakom is a cluster of little islands on the Vembanad Lake. It is an ideal place for romantic getaway. Day at leisure. (Overnight at Kumarakom)

DAY 04: KUMARAKOM TO PERIYAR

Periyar an area known for its undulating hills, spice plantations, and elephant sightings. One of the 27 tiger reserves in India, the Periyar valley in Thekkady is the oldest. Check into your hotel. You could go on a spice plantation tour today where you will be enticed by the aroma of spices like cinnamon, cardamom, pepper and nutmeg. Rest of the day at leisure. (Overnight at Periyar)

DAY 05: AT PERIYAR

Spend the day at leisure in the stunning wildlife resort. Enjoy an elephant ride, walk through the plantations or simply enjoy a dip in the pool. You could also go for a boat ride where you will have the opportunity to sight elephants and other animals along the bank. (Overnight at Periyar)

DAY 06: PERIYAR TO ALLEPPEY

Drive to Alleppey to embark on your private houseboat. Your houseboats or 'Kettuvalloms' are well appointed bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms. For this special occasion we will deck the entire boat with flowers. You can sunbathe on the deck or observe the palm fringed landscape from your cabins. Apart from the mesmerizing surroundings it's the life along the coast that makes this a fascinating experience. The locals travel in canoes and you will find vegetable sellers, fishermen and other traders bringing household goods, door to door in small wooden boats. As you cruise along the backwaters you can ask your captain to stop at villages, paddy fields and other places enroute. In the evening, enjoy a romantic candlelight dinner with champagne. (Overnight at Alleppey)

DAY 07: ALLEPPEY TO KOVALAM

After special breakfast on the board, you will check out from the House Boat and your honeymoon journey brings you to the next destination Kovalam – on the coast of the Arabian Sea. In Kovalam you will have leisure on the beach. Here you can do activities like swimming, sunbathing, and walking on sandy beaches.

Apart from the leisure on beach you can also visit Kovalam Harbor where you will see more than hundred of small fishing boats. Later on you can visit the Fish Market and Fish Aquarium. (Overnight in Kovalam)

DAY 08: AT KOVALAM

Day at leisure for your own activities. Enjoy the candle light dinner at your hotel. Overnight stay in Kovalam.

Departure transfer to Trivandrum airport for onward flight.
